Hoof care bath or spray
HooFoss is a skin protectant specialized for use in the hoof area.
HooFoss forms a protective layer of minerals in the hoof area. The active layer of minerals supports the skin and protects it from harmful environmental influences. This makes it easier for the skin to heal without being exposed to harmful environmental influences.
Use HooFoss 2 times a week (Monday and Thursday). You can increase the frequency in case of major problems. It is not necessary to clean the hooves before and after treatment with HooFoss, manure does not affect the effect of the product.
SPRAYING: Use a backpack sprayer made of durable plastic or stainless steel. Approximately 25-50 ml of product is used for one treatment. For optimal effectiveness of the product, hold the spray nozzle as close to the problem area as possible (1-2 cm) during application.
BATH: Without substrate: Pour 40 L of product into the barrier. Add water to reach a depth of 5 cm. This amount is sufficient for the passage of 200 cows. For larger herds of animals, supplement with 10 - 20 L of concentrated product for every 200 cows.
With substrate: Add 30 L of concentrated product. For larger herds, pour an additional amount of product into the barrier for every 200 cows. After 100 cows have passed, clean manure from the substrate.
